Facilities
Onsite communal facilities are housed in the nearby barn and include a well equipped kitchenette with dining table, two spacious wet rooms with hot showers, toilets and basins. There is also a seating area on the mezzanine level where you can relax and unwind.
Recycling facilities are provided in the barn. We have separate sorting bins and ask campers to help us to keep Wales's spot as second best country in the world for recycling!
The Walkers Bothy
The Walkers Bothy is a small cabin that sleeps up to two and is perfect for those who would prefer to travel without a tent.
It's well equipped with wifi, lighting and phone charging points. There's a double futon with mattress, a sheet and pillows are provided but you will need your own sleeping bag. Alternatively you can rent a bag at the cost of £7.50 per person for the duration of your stay. There's also a folding wall-mounted table, some basic shelving and hooks for your belongings, a dvd player and a selection of books and dvd's.
The decked outdoor seating area catches the sun so you can relax and enjoy the sunset on warm summer evenings. On wet and windy nights you might prefer to light the wood burner and snuggle up indoors. A daily wood bundle is included in the price and the bothy is very well insulated, but should you need more wood it is available to buy.
The kitchenette, wet rooms and mezzanine seating area in the communal camping facilities barn are for your use.
Please note that the booking price is based on two people sharing and there is no discount for single occupancy.
If you enjoy the outdoors but don't want to be without all your home comforts you'll enjoy a stay at the bothy.
